We’re joined by Rick Ventura, Guitarist of Riot & Riot Act. In this unique episode, Metal Walt meets face to face in Rick’s basement in Queens, NY for an impromptu evening of dialogue & music. Rick talks about the basement being the genesis of Riot Act, how he & Mark Reale discovered each other in the mid-70s, & Rick “plugs in” his guitar & jams out riffs from Riot classic tracks plus some Blues!

Also, he shares great NYC concert memories, both as a fan & as a touring Artist, his appreciation for Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, UFO & Van Halen, touring with Rush & his experience when encountering Richie Blackmore in person.

Additionally, Rick unearths rarities from his vinyl collection, & finally Rick gets to hear for the first time the never-heard-before recording of a 1994 Mark Reale/ Guy Speranza writing session, as presented by Damian Kolodiy, Filmmaker of the IMMORTAL SOUL A Riot tribute & concert film five-part Documentary.
